So, everyone in my world knows I was getting tired of my music selection. I hate living in the "now scene" in music. Everything gets over played, and every person fusses about the same bands. So I decided to use myspace to my own advantage and search the indie music section. I found some real keepers, I must admit.

See What I mean? Like, Myspace actually has a purpose! I'm so excited about new music.. music seriously is my life, next to art, and my other passions. IF you really know me, you know that's true.
Anyways, I've found that my music taste is changing again, and so is my style of clothing. But it's great. Because now I know that I don't just go with what's in, or popular, or what all my friends like... I really just wear things I love, that fit my moods... and I think my music is also chosen by mood.
I like to be different, but if being different makes me the same as everyone else, then what's the point. I wear what I like. I am what I like. I don't wish to be the creation of other people. Nor do I care if people don't like things I like, or like me.
Opinions of friends matter. Opinions that are negative, and come from people I don't respect, will not shake me.
I think it's because I'm stubborn.
But this post was about music... so do yourself a favor, and go listen to some of these grrreat bands.

hey girl, good for you that u don't give into the norms of thsi society... I think everyone shoudl try that for once.... dare to be different chelle, u def live by that statement and i totally and utterly respect you for that... u are the coolest chick i know, b/c u know who u are, and don't care what others think.... I wish i was more like you in that dept... but i'm working on it... but i just wnated to say that " you go girl" lol..
