There was this line in one of the songs at the concert tonight that struck me so hard.
it was along the lines of (paraphrased) you can't find what you lack in someone else.
like you can't go looking for someone to complete you. opposites attract, yeah.. but you can't expect someone to just fill the holes in you.....it's inhumane... only God fills the holes, only God makes up for what we lack. Only God can make us complete.
Sure we need people to challenge us, to help us grow, to encourage us in our failings and weaknesses... but only Christ heals.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the concert... and I think we sometimes froget that only God can fill that hole and no one else, its hard tho cuz we want others too so badly sometimes...
and yes Christ is the ultimate healer!

wow....i feel like that song spoke to me alot. I know thats what i tend to do, i tend to want other ppl to fix me or try to fix me, just like i try to fix other people. God is the only one who can fix us and we can find healing in our brokenness because of him.
