i miss california

I miss california...so much. i want to be there right now. I have never seen my mother so happy as when we were there...and I've probably never been as happy either. I miss the palm trees, I miss the smell of the salty air, I miss the sunshine (it feels different there than here). I miss airplanes that take me to California. I miss being able to shop til I drop, and find things that people can't buy here. I miss the beach, the sound of the waves. I miss waking up early each morning and actually ENJOYING it (work sucks). I want more than anything to go back and to be able to share that experience with my friends.
I'd live there if it wasn't so far away from everything/everyone I love.
