Sometimes life just throws things at you, that you aren't expecting.
They can be good, or they can be bad. But the unexpected for me usually turn out to be a blessing. They add variation to my dull life, some excitement to the boredom. Interesting turn of events.
I really love life. I love the depth I've found in some people, the escape from seriousness in others. I love the sunshine and warmth of a November afternoon, when we expect it to typically be freezing cold with snow. I love new friends, I love reconnecting with old ones. I find joy in laughter that people provoke in me.
I couldn't ask for much more. There are things I want, but everyone wants something. I'm just happy that I'm content, at ease.
I have this willingness to trust people, that I never used to have. I'm okay with being open, and honest. I believe that they truly are who they seem to be. There aren't any alterior motives. At least this way I'm free to be who I am, not worrying about getting hurt. I think people can actually be genuine.
I'm grateful.
